- Address: Ceddi Plaza, 264 Tafawa Balewa Way, Central Business District, Abuj
Experience: Nkoyi has other outlets. One in Wuse-2 and Jabi lake mall. I have been to the outlet at Wuse 2 three times. However, I had a better experience at the outlet in Ceddi Plaza. The potato chips served before meals at Wuse 2 is a larger portion than that served at Cedi plaza and the it is served almost immediately.
I love ambience. Nkoyo- Ceddi plaza is beautiful! The art work at the entrance and the bead curtain that reads “Nkoyo” is lovely! I particularly love the table arrangements and the homely feel that comes with the place. It is African and lovely… Being a regular at this place, my experiences have always been good. Nothing like out of the world exceptional, but you walk out feeling good and having had good value for your money too.

I will not forget in a hurry one of my late evening visits to Nkoyo. It was a monday night, and they had a man playing so skilfully on the piano. I sang along, and it was one of such incredible nights. The last time I visited, he was not there, neither was the piano. It broke my heart!
Service: The service is nice. Before you walk in, you are greeted and attended to already. You are showed to a table and a menu is almost immediately brought to you. I love the potato chips offered while awaitng your order. The waiters and waitresses are polite, the place is clean and well ventilated too. It is not one of those places you step into and the fragrance is disturbing.
Taste: Nkoyo meals are generally lovely. I have had both local and continental dishes. Both were amazing. The Nkoyo special punch is lovely!
Price: Nkoyo prices are honestly alright. I wouldn’t say anything is pricey. You get good value for your money. 6,000 naira should get you a really good meal.
Caution: Stay away from an Indian cuisine that comes with herbs. No jokes! I tried this once, I am yet to recover. I still shudder at the thought of the meal. The rice had all sort. From herbs to cashew nuts to other kinds of nuts. Had this cone dressing at the side of the bowl with a burried boiled egg. Felt like I went visiting a herbalist. Just stay away from complicated rice please. Simple does it.

Note: Nkoyo is a lovely place to visit alone or even with friends and family. The African feel is lovely too.
