Crust and Cream

  • Address: 11 Musa Yar’ Adua St, Victoria Island, Lagos

Experience: Crust and cream is not a place hard to miss. Google map did the work perfectly. The waiters and waitresses were readily available and courteous to show us to a table. It is a beautiful, clean and has nicely seated areas. I love that there is a cake and pastry section right in there too. The food took a while to make it to us though.

Service: The service is nice. You are not left looking for a waiter or waitress. Staff are polite. Music was good too. Not disturbingly loud and lighting was perfect.

Taste: My friend an I visited on a Friday evening. My meal was so good! I had Chicken & Mushroom-Part Fry breaded chicken breast with mushroom sauce, & mixed vegetables served with Chinese fried rice. My food was delicious! So good guys! Sadly, my friend’s meal wasn’t that great. For dessert, I had Waffle- Banana and strawberry slices, chocolate sauce, ‘maple syrup, nuts, chocolate chips, served with vanilla ice cream. We also had lovely cakes as extra dessert.

My friend had Mongolian Beef-Tenderloin beef fillet, sautéed onion, garlic, red & green bell pepper, tossed with oyster sweet soy with fries. The beef tasted stale. Had a slight smell to it. We had to ask the waiter to re-heat her meal. It was not good!

Price: My meal cost ₦5,200, Waffles cost ₦2,500. My friend’s meal cost ₦5,500. Can not recall the price of the cakes. I will say the prices are fair enough.

Caution: Just be certain to double check that your order is freshly prepared.

Note: Crusts and Cream is a lovely place. One I will visit sometime soonest.
